GOLF: Being only 2 hours from central Europe, Malta's temperate climate makes the Royal Malta Golf Club an ideal venue for off-season golfing breaks both for individuals and groups. The club dates back to 1888, when golf was first played in the ditches formed by the fortification walls of Valletta. One of the founding members was the then Duke of Edinburgh, who was serving in Malta at the time and from whom the club received royal patronage. The club moved to its present location in 1904 and in the course has undergone numerous changes since, the most significant of which has been the installation of an irrigation system that helps to keep the course evergreen.

TREKKING: Malta is only around 17 miles long and 8 miles wide. Therefore it is easy to see the island on foot in a few days. Walking tours around Malta go along country roads and rocky tracks, sometimes through the valleys, and then along the cliffs and terraced fields. On the way we suggest that clients also visit some archaeological sites. Walking in Malta includes everything: sea views, cliffs and bays; archaeological remains, the typical garrigue and woodland ecosystems and vales.
